Biography
KIO is a music producer and DJ Based in Sydney Australia.
His music has best been described as a unique new sound, modern, chunky and melodic electronic dance music.
A mixture of EDM, electro, drumstep/dubstep and heavy rock elements, his sound combines early influences from bands like: Tool and Rage Against The Machine, to more recent Dance favourites such as: Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia, Shockone and Deadmau5.
In late 2011, KIO released the critically acclaimed debut EP 'The Big Easy'
which enjoyed Top-10 chart success.
Remixed tracks include the likes of Depeche Mode, Mark Knight, Tool, Linkin Park, and Kimbra.
